Biotechnica holds and manages the global patents on Triticum vulgaris megasuavis, the engineered wheat strain that produces CHOOH2. Fifteen manufacturers licensed worldwide. Petrochem produces 60% of global supply under licence. The patent generates revenue that funds every other division in the corporation. It is impossible to produce CHOOH2 without Biotechnica's consent.

Night City eats.
Allfoods is Biotechnica's food production subsidiary and Night City's largest food supplier. Synthetic protein derivatives, engineered crop lines, and affordable nutrition products for the general population. Not glamorous. Essential. More Night City residents are fed by Allfoods than by any other single supplier.
Allfoods products are manufactured using Biotechnica-developed synthetic biology processes. All ingredients are engineered, not grown conventionally. SynthProtein
Synthetic protein bars and meal blocks. Primary nutrition source for much of Night City's lower districts.

Biotechnica conducts ongoing clinical research across multiple programmes. Participants receive compensation for time and involvement. Registration is open to qualifying individuals. All programmes have been reviewed by Biotechnica's internal ethics board.

Some programmes involve genetic modification, bioware implantation, or pharmaceutical administration. By registering you consent to intake assessment only, not to programme participation. Compensation rates vary by programme and are confirmed at assessment. Biotechnica is not liable for outcomes resulting from incomplete disclosure of participant medical history.

Allfoods SynthProtein Batch 44-G — Possible Contamination
Batch 44-G of Allfoods SynthProtein bars (production dates 2046.01.20 to 2046.02.10) may contain trace quantities of a biological compound from an adjacent research facility. Consumers who have purchased products from this batch may experience mild nausea, temporary disorientation, and in some cases, enhanced sensory sensitivity. Biotechnica advises consumers to discontinue use of batch 44-G products and return them to point of purchase. Compensation is available on a case-by-case basis through the Allfoods consumer response line.
Biotechnica's product safety division has reviewed this notice. The compound present in affected batches has been identified. Its full effects are being assessed. Biotechnica does not anticipate long-term health consequences from exposure at the quantities present in batch 44-G. This assessment is subject to revision as the review continues.

BT-Neural-22 Bioware — Response Irregularity
BT-Neural-22 bioware implants installed between 2044.06 and 2045.09 may experience irregular response patterns under sustained stress conditions. Reported symptoms include involuntary muscle response and temporary autonomic override lasting between 3 and 40 seconds. Not all affected units exhibit symptoms. Biotechnica recommends assessment for all implants in the affected installation window. Assessment is available through authorised Biotechnica bioware service centres.
This recall is voluntary. Biotechnica's ethics board reviewed this notice prior to publication. The board determined that voluntary recall with assessment recommendation was the appropriate response. Forced removal is not recommended given the surgical risk involved in unnecessary explant. Biotechnica will fund assessment costs for affected units.
BTN-2044-003 // ISSUED 2044.08.20 // CLINICAL TRIALS CLOSED
CHOOH2-ALT-4 Trial — Programme Suspended
Clinical trial CHOOH2-ALT-4 was suspended in 2044 following adverse metabolic outcomes in a subset of participants from one cohort. All identified participants were contacted. Compensation was issued at the standard concluded-programme rate. The NIGHTINGALE-3 programme was subsequently restructured with updated protocols and relaunched as a separate programme.
Two participants from the original CHOOH2-ALT-4 trial cohort could not be located for follow-up contact. Biotechnica's participant welfare division considers this matter closed. If you believe you participated in CHOOH2-ALT-4 and have not received compensation correspondence, contact the clinical research division directly. Biotechnica regrets any inconvenience caused by the programme's conclusion.
