The World Is No Longer the Limit.

A house of the Calderoni family.

Operating notice — MAR 2047

Quintanar Avenue sustained significant damage in October 2046. The field is open on a reduced basis: one hangar is in service, the runway is usable in daylight and in good weather, and the slipway is closed pending survey. Two hangars are being rebuilt and the fourth has not yet been assessed. Aircraft movements are by prior arrangement only. Losses to stock and to client aircraft in our care remain under assessment and every affected client has been contacted directly.

The house is trading. The telephone number has not changed and neither has your advisor.

Twenty-five aircraft on the floor and in the air: executive aerodynes, intercontinental jets, rotorcraft, and one crimson seaplane that is not for sale. Sold by pilots, to people who intend to fly.

Specified,
Not Ordered.

No two aircraft leave this house alike. Exterior finish, cabin architecture, materials, systems and mission equipment are chosen with an advisor, drawn, signed, and frozen before a single panel is cut.

How an Aircraft Is Bought Here

Four Conversations

01

Consultation

We begin with the mission, not the aircraft. Where you fly, how often, with whom, and what the day looks like on either end of the flight.

02

Selection and demonstration

A shortlist of two or three, followed by a demonstration at Quintanar or an appropriate partner facility. There is no substitute for time in the aircraft.

03

Specification and contract

Exterior, cabin, materials, systems. The specification is frozen with your advisor, and the contract is written in plain language.

04

Delivery and aftercare

We inspect the aircraft before you see it. Crew, hangarage, maintenance and airworthiness are arranged before the keys are handed over, and remain our responsibility afterwards.

ROSSO Founder and Proprietor
The House

The air asks nothing of you.
Everything else does.

He flew fighters in the Fourth Corporate War and he came home, which is more than most of his squadron managed. He spent the years after it recovering aircraft that had been taken from their owners, and he was paid in airframes more often than in eurodollars. By 2031 he had a hangar full of them and nowhere to put the next one.

That is how Savoia began. He is in the hangar most mornings. He will not sell you an aircraft you cannot fly, and he will not be hurried.

The Collection

Twenty-five aircraft, new and certified pre-owned, from twelve manufacturers. Every aircraft is demonstrated, inspected or independently verified before contract. Demonstration location depends upon aircraft class and availability. Figures are indicative and confirmed at specification.

Prices in eurodollars · Excludes taxes and delivery

Aircraft in the Security and Government category are supplied demilitarised, are subject to end-user certification and export control review, and are not offered in all territories. Commercial and medical aircraft are supplied to licensed operators. Savoia does not sell, fit, broker or provision weapon systems of any kind.

I have never sold an aircraft to a man in a hurry. They come back damaged, and so does he. ROSSO · Founder and Proprietor

No weapon systems, mountings or provisions for them are offered here or anywhere else in this house. Military-derived airframes are supplied demilitarised. The proprietor has never once been persuaded otherwise, and he will not be persuaded by you.

Specifications drawn here are indicative. Availability of individual options varies by airframe and by manufacturer, and some combinations affect range, payload or certification. Your advisor will tell you which, and will not let you sign something that does not fly properly.

Your Specification

Your Specification Is With Us.

An advisor will review the drawing against the airframe, confirm what is available, flag anything that would affect range or certification, and price it. You will hear from us within two working days.

Specification reference —

Quote this reference in any correspondence. If you would rather discuss it in person, the hangar is open six days a week and there is coffee.

Ownership Services

Buying the aircraft is the short part. Savoia keeps it flying, keeps it legal, keeps it worth something, and keeps it out of the conversation.

01

Acquisition and Brokerage

Savoia maintains authorised commercial relationships with selected manufacturers. Our acquisition advisory process nevertheless acts on behalf of the client. We hold allocations with eleven makers, and where a client is better served by an aircraft we do not represent, we say so and we go and find it. We are paid by you, and our advice is not for sale to anybody else.

02

The Certified Pre-Owned Programme

Every pre-owned aircraft is stripped, surveyed and inspected against a published point schedule before it is offered. Damage history, incident history, cycles and corrosion are disclosed in writing. Title is verified independently. If the record is incomplete, we tell you that the record is incomplete rather than filling the gap with an adjective.

03

Bespoke Completion

Exterior, cabin, materials and systems, drawn with an advisor and completed at the manufacturer’s centre or in our own shops. Anything that would compromise range, payload, weight or certification is flagged before you sign the drawing, not after you have paid for it.

04

Maintenance and Airworthiness

Quintanar performs routine servicing, restoration, diagnostics and aerodyne maintenance in our own hangars, under approved maintenance authorisations, with manufacturer technical documentation, licensed tooling and current service agreements. Heavy work on large commercial aircraft is carried out at manufacturer-approved partner facilities. Specialist military and orbital systems are handled by manufacturer-trained engineers. We stock the parts we use most; we do not pretend to stock all of them, and we maintain a recovery network of contractors for the ones we do not. Twenty-four hour response, wherever the aircraft is standing.

05

Crew and Training

Type rating and recurrent training for owner-pilots. Vetted, licensed and discreet crews for those who would rather be flown. The proprietor is qualified across every class represented by the house and holds active type ratings on eleven aircraft in the current collection; for the rest, a manufacturer pilot or a specialist captain flies with you, and we tell you which.

06

Hangarage and Fleet Management

Secure hangarage at Quintanar and at contracted fields in the greater Night City region, with fuelling, cleaning, scheduling, crew rostering and movement planning. Access and aircraft movements are coordinated directly with each client.

Hangarage capacity at Quintanar is currently one hangar. Clients whose aircraft were hangared at Quintanar have been contacted individually and no client is being asked to make arrangements alone. Where an aircraft in our care was damaged or lost, the house is dealing with the client directly and is not treating the matter as an insurance question first.

07

Registration, Insurance and Title

Registration in any eligible jurisdiction, insurance placed through underwriters who understand the airframe, and title verified independently before money moves. Ownership may be structured confidentially where the law of the chosen jurisdiction permits it. Every sale is documented. We follow applicable Night City and international aviation law, and we will not pretend to place an aircraft beyond the reach of a court that wants it.

08

Resale and Trade-In

When you are finished with an aircraft, we take it back and we sell it properly. Aircraft bought here are valued here, and we would rather hold an airframe for a season than dump it into a soft market and teach you that our numbers mean nothing.

09

Discretion

Non-public consultations, private treaty sales, discreet transaction handling and delivery away from the public apron. Client and guest records are protected and are not published. We do not confirm our clients to the press or to your competitors. We comply with lawful disclosure, and we will tell you when we have had to.

From First Conversation to Delivery

How It Goes

Sixteen to twenty weeks for a stock aircraft. Longer for a commissioned interior, and considerably longer if you want the paint matched to something you own. The house does not hurry, and it does not permit itself to be hurried.

Week One

The first conversation

At the hangar, at your office, or in the air. We want the mission: the routes, the frequency, the passengers, the fields you use, and the day at either end of the flight. No aircraft is discussed for the first hour.

Weeks Two to Four

Shortlist and demonstration

Every aircraft is demonstrated, inspected or independently verified before contract. Aircraft compatible with the Quintanar runway are flown from the field with our crews and our insurance, on seventy-two hours’ notice. Larger fixed-wing aircraft are demonstrated through our partner facilities in the greater Night City region. Aircraft still in production are inspected remotely and flown in the simulator. You will be given the controls if you hold the rating. If you do not, you will be given the seat behind them.

Weeks Four to Eight

Specification

Exterior, cabin, materials, systems, mission equipment. Drawn, costed, and frozen. Anything that would compromise range, payload or certification is flagged before you sign it, not after.

Contract

Title, finance and certification

Plain-language contract, verified title, identity and licensing checks, funding verification, export and weapons review where the destination needs one, and finance introduced if you want it. Military-pattern airframes carry enhanced title checks. Contracts are completed in person. Deposits are held in escrow and never in our account.

Build and Inspection

The aircraft is watched

A Savoia engineer attends the completion centre. We inspect the aircraft before you ever see it, and we have held deliveries over defects the manufacturer considered acceptable. We do not consider them acceptable.

Delivery and Onwards

Hand-over and aftercare

The aircraft is delivered fuelled, crewed, hangared, insured and registered in an eligible jurisdiction. Your advisor coordinates the route, clearances and final handover. Your advisor does not change. Neither does the telephone number.

A Note on Discretion

Once chosen, you are not discussed.

Savoia does not confirm that you are a client. We do not confirm what you own, what you paid for it, where it is hangared, or where it went last Tuesday. This applies to the press, to your competitors, to your relatives, and to anyone arriving officially without the paperwork to compel us. Where the paperwork does compel us, we comply, and we tell you that we have.

The House

Savoia has one proprietor and one operating director. Corrado Rosso rarely appears in public, has not been photographed since the war, and has never once been late to a delivery.

Founder and Proprietor

Corrado Rosso

He flew fighters in the Fourth Corporate War and he came home, which is more than most of his squadron managed. What he did in those years is not published here. The people who need to know it already do, and he considers the subject closed. He will say only that the sky over the coast was very crowded that summer, and very quiet afterwards.

After the war he spent much of the next eight years on the coast, recovering aircraft that had been taken from their owners by the free flyers working the shipping lanes. He was extremely good at it. He was paid in airframes as often as in eurodollars, and by 2031 he had a hangar full of aeroplanes and nowhere to put the next one. That is how Savoia began: a debt collected in aircraft, and a man who could not bring himself to scrap a single one.

He was asked, twice, to fly for a corporation. He suggested on both occasions that they buy a helicopter instead. Savoia was registered in 2031 and began as it continues: a restoration shop, a brokerage and two seaplanes, on an abandoned freight terminal that nobody else wanted. The Calderoni family put up the first capital and found him the ground. Rotorcraft followed, then aerodynes, then the executive aircraft, and the hangars went up one at a time.

The house is privately backed by the Calderoni family, and trades in Little Europe under the protection of Gambino Gallo. That involvement extends to property, capital and matters beyond aviation. It does not extend to the aircraft, the clients, or the running of this company, which remain under the sole operational direction of the proprietor.

The arrangements that protected this field for fifteen years were arrangements with a district. The district is rubble. What replaces them is a matter the family is addressing and the house does not discuss. Savoia has declined every approach it has received since October regarding the sale, relocation or corporate acquisition of the field, and expects to go on declining them.

He is in the hangar most mornings. He will not sell you an aircraft you cannot fly, he will not be hurried, and if he takes against you no amount of money in Night City will change his mind. Our clients regard this as a feature.

The House Code

Four Rules

They are not printed in the brochure and they are not negotiable. They have cost this house a great deal of money, and the proprietor considers that money well spent.

Our door is open

Consultations are open to all prospective clients. You do not need an introduction and you do not need to be known to us. Final acquisition remains subject to identity, licensing, financial and territorial compliance review, and the house retains the right to decline a transaction.

Your file is not public

Client and guest records are protected. Not shared with the press, not shared with your competitors, and not published. Where the law compels disclosure we comply, and we tell you that we have. We do not offer anonymity from a government, a court or a lawful corporate authority, and we will not pretend to.

We do not sell weapons

Not fitted, not brokered, not provisioned for later. Military-derived airframes leave this house demilitarised or they do not leave it. If you hold the legal authority to operate an armed aircraft, that is between you and the authority that granted it.

The aircraft comes first

Nothing is delivered from here that we would not fly ourselves. If an aircraft is not right, we hold it, we tell you why, and we absorb the cost of the delay.

The air asks nothing of you. Everything else does. ROSSO

The People

Who You Will Actually Meet

Corrado Rosso

Founder, Proprietor and Operating Director

Fourth Corporate War. Qualified across every class represented by the house, and holding active type ratings on eleven aircraft in the current collection. For the rest he flies with the manufacturer’s pilot, and he tells you so.

Piera Ruggeri

Director, La Rimessa

Nineteen years old. She came into the Fenice project as an apprentice at fifteen, under her grandmother, and by its final year she was its principal systems engineer. She now directs the workshop alongside the senior women of the Ruggeri family, who are the finest hands in Night City and are not easily impressed by anybody, including her.

Costanza Marchetti

Director, Client Relations

Twenty-two years in aviation finance. Has never lost a client’s document and has never repeated a client’s name outside this building.

Ilaria Venn

Keeper of the Adriana

Our crews and our clients drink at the Adriana, at the end of the hangar line. She sings on Friday evenings. Attendance is not compulsory, but it is expected.

The House Collection

Fenice SP-13

Adriatica Aeronautica · 2019 · Single-seat racing seaplane

It hangs in the roof of the hangar, three metres above the floor, in a crimson the paint shop still cannot match on the first attempt. It was built to race, it went to war two years later because everything did, and it came back.

Signora Ruggeri and her workshop took four years bringing it back by hand. The dents on the port float have not been removed. The proprietor was quite firm about that. It flies once a year, in the spring, off the water at the end of the field, with him in the seat and nobody else on the schedule.

Enquiries regarding the Fenice are declined with thanks. It has been asked for, at some length and at some expense, including by an American industrial heir who still insists the disputed 2043 race was never completed. The answer does not change.
The Field

One Address

Savoia has never maintained a second permanent home. Quintanar remains the centre of the house: the hangar, runway, slipway, workshop and bar. Larger aircraft and specialist operations are handled through selected partner facilities.

Since October 2046 a temporary operations desk and a leased hangar at a partner field in the greater Night City region have carried the work that Quintanar cannot presently carry. This is an arrangement, not a relocation. Nothing has been moved that did not have to be moved, and everything that was moved is coming back.

The Hangar

The showroom, and the first thing you see from the gate. Aircraft on the floor, a crimson boar in flight carved above the door, and the seaplane hanging three metres up in the roof trusses.

The Field

A short reinforced runway on the western waterfront, laid over the old freight and seaplane terminal and running back into the Upper Marina yards. A private slipway to the water. It takes aerodynes, rotorcraft, seaplanes and light aircraft; airliners it does not take, and we do not pretend otherwise. Demonstration flights by appointment, on seventy-two hours’ notice, with our own crews, our own insurance and our own fuel. Larger aircraft are demonstrated through our partner facilities in the greater Night City region.

La Rimessa

The restoration shop at the north end of the line, where old airframes are brought back by hand. Visits by invitation of Signora Ruggeri, who is not easily impressed and does not pretend to be.

The Adriana

The bar at the end of the hangar line, with nine rooms above it for clients who would rather not announce their arrival in the city. Guest records are kept privately and are not published. The kitchen is very good and the wine is not sold to strangers.

What the House Sells On

Five Things and a Motto

Discretion

The default state of everything that happens in this building.

Technical confidence

Every advisor here holds a licence. Most of them still fly for a living.

Personal service

One advisor, from the first conversation to the last inspection. Not a department, and not a queue.

Regulatory compliance

Every sale documented, certified and lawful. We are old-fashioned about this and we do not negotiate on it.

Long-term ownership

We would rather sell you four aircraft over thirty years than one aircraft today.

The Motto

A grounded pilot is just a man with a good jacket.

Represented Manufacturers

Eleven Represented Manufacturers

Savoia is a dealer, not a manufacturer. We hold allocations, certification and tooling for the following, and we say so plainly because some houses do not.

Request a Consultation

Tell us what the flying looks like and we will tell you what the aircraft should be. No aircraft is sold from this house without a conversation first, and the conversation costs nothing.

An advisor replies within two working days. Enquiries are held in confidence and are not passed to manufacturers without your instruction.

Thank You, —.

Your enquiry is with an advisor. You will hear from one of us within two working days, from a person, by whichever method you asked for. Nothing has been passed to a manufacturer and nothing will be without your instruction.

Your reference —

Quote it if you telephone. If you would rather come and look at aircraft while you wait, the hangar is open six days a week, the coffee is good, and the seaplane in the roof is worth the trip on its own.
